


Hanson experiences the carefree, irresponsible times he never had as a teenager when his partner Penhall and old rabble rousing high school buddy Russell Buckins (Angelo Tiffe) convince him to live for the moment.Provoked by his friend's prodding, the upcoming mamage of his former love Debbie Eaton (Liz Keifer), and the wiseguy attitude of a drug racing speed demon, Hanson fouls up an important investigation -- sending he and Penhall back to the Police Academy.In another uncharacteristic move, Hanson leaves Penhall alone to learn about partnership at the Academy while he proceeds to head to the mountains with Buckins to try and thwart Debbie Eaton's marriage plans. However, complications arise which send Hanson back to face his responsibilities at an important hearing.Confused about how he has chosen to live his life thus far, Hanson finally visits Debbie only to discover that despite the passion they both felt, she can not break her marriage plans. The experience isn't for naught, for in the end Hanson learns some valuable lessons about responsibility and self expression.
