9/11 It has been seven years since America was attacked by terrorists on Sept.11, 2001, people are still asking why. For many there will never be an acceptable answer. We may recall exactly where we were and what we were doing, but not what really happened. 'Why would all 110 stories drop straight down to the ground in about 10 seconds, pulverizing the contents into dust and ash - twice. Why would all 47 stories of WTC 7 fall straight down to the ground in about seven seconds the same day? It was not struck by any aircraft or engulfed in any fire. An independent investigation is justified for all three collapses including the surviving steel samples and the composition of the dust.' ~Ronald H. Obeid, structural engineer, with a masters degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley More than 400 architects and engineers have signed a petition along with thousands more supporters saying "Law of physics says the official story was impossible to happen." More than 1,200 experts from FBI, CIA, military, pilots, scholars and celebrities including the survivors and victims' families questioning the official story and demanding a real investigation. This year the Tribute in Light will shine again on 9/11, a "Day of Remembrance", from Lower Manhattan and fill the night sky. The Tribute in Light honors those who were lost on September 11, as well as those who worked so hard at ground zero. Overall, more than 10,500 of the rescue and recovery personnel have received federally funded treatment for physical conditions. The WTC Responder Fatality Investigation program has identified more than 360 deaths so far among responders and volunteers.
