86 Suspects Accused of Link To Ergenekon

86 suspects, 46 of whom are currently under arrest, are appearing before a judge for the first time in 17 months... since an investigation started following the accidental discovery of a house being used as an arms depot in Istanbul. The suspects are facing a one year 'to' life sentence. // The indictment accuses the suspects of links with the Ergenekon terrorist gang. They face accusations that include "membership in an armed terrorist group," "attempting to destroy the government," "inciting people to rebel against the Republic of Turkiye" and other similar crimes. The terrorist organization of Ergenekon has also been charged with trying to oust the current elected government and control the country.
