7/23/08: BOLT Meeting -- Solar and Wind in Shaw

On July 23, 2008, Chief Librarian Ginnie Cooper heard from a couple of DC residents that to stem the tide of rising energy costs and to model future alternative energy trends, the new Shaw Library should include in the construction, solar and wind technologies. She says she "would look at that" but has stated as such before and has never produced a feasibility study or cost analysis to see how much the library could save over time using these energy saving devices.
