49ers File Tampering Charges Against Jets About Michael Crabtree

According to the New York Daily News, the San Francisco 49ers have filed charges with the NFL against the New York Jets alleging that they tampered with the Niners' unsigned 2009 draft pick WR Michael Crabtree. Crabtree has threatened to sit out the season adn reenter the draft in 2010 if he does not get the contract he wants. The Jets are in need of a WR and may have talked to Crabtree's agent Eugene Parker, whom the Jets GM worked with years ago to get Curtis Martin from the Patriots. Jets coach Rex Ryan has called the allegations "ridiculous."
