Film 2012 stars John Cusack and claimed the No. 1 spot in its opening weekend, pulling in $65 million domestically and $225 million worldwide. It is a film filled with special effects. Last week's top draw, Disney's A Christmas Carol with Jim Carey slipped to No. 2 and George Clooney's The Men Who Stare at Goats landed at No. 3.
