2008 Arkansas Basketball: vs. #20 Florida

The Arkansas Razorbacks blew out #25 SECwest-leading Mississippi State by 20 points just a few days before. Now, it was Florida's turn to visit Bud Walton arena. Supported by a solid team performance, the Hogs cruised to an early lead, with a 46-21 advantage at halftime. Eventually, Arkansas would lead ranked Florida by 30 points in the second half. The hostile crowd of 19,800+ was too much for Florida's young freshmen as the Razorbacks coasted to an 80-61 victory. By the night's end, Arkansas was the leader in the SECWest. Also of note was Arkansas coach John Pelphrey facing his former mentor, Florida coach Billy Donovan.
