Michael Cera back on big screen
Michael Cera is back on form in new film Youth in Revolt. The movie sees the young Canadian actor nail the introvert teen character he is becoming famous for. Youth in Revolt is the story of geeky teen Nick Twisp on a mission to get a hot girlfriend. The only problem is his ideal woman is not interested. In his attempts to win the heart of Sheeni Saunders he creates an alter ego - a cooler version of himself, complete with deep voice, moustach and bad boy attitude. Youth in Revolt is out now.
New Skins series launched
Series four of the successful late-teen drama Skins hits our screens on Thursday with a characteristically eventful opening episode. The first show focuses on Thomas, returning to the cast after leaving early in series three and as ever focuses on very serious and hard-hitting issues. The programme has been a landmark drama for E4, strengthening the career of Nicholas Hoult in it's first two series and developing the highly applauded acting skills of Jack O'Connell, playing Cook, who was first seen in Shane Meadow's This Is England. The fourth series is expected to be every bit as successful as the previous ones and includes music from up-and-coming acts set to benefit from featuring on the cult drama. Other characters returning include Freddie, Effy, the twins, JJ and Pandora in what has to be one of the most anticipated returns to screen in E4's history.
